We trained together and have always maintained a close working bond.

"Having a good haircut has always been important to me. In the 70's I used to go to the
Vidal Sasoon shop in South Molten St and there I learnt how real experts consulted with clients,
how they handled the hair,
and how the ensuing cut was one which required little or no effort on
my part over the following weeks to
recreate how it had looked when I left the salon.
The arrival of children put paid to my trips to London for haircuts.
In the 1990's I was once again able to
consider London salons and this time I chose to attend the Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden
and once again enjoyed the confidence of knowing I would walk out with an excellent cut.
About two years ago Gillian was strongly recommended to me as an excellent cutter,
I had seen her advert in the
